Saturday 9/19: Summer Sessions On The Lake + Afterhours at Contour

I have a few gigs this month.  Four actually.  I usually stick to one or two per month, but this month I have four really great gigs.  This Saturday, I have a double-header.  First, I'm at playing a boat party: One Night Events' Summer Sessions on the Lake.  Then, Johnny Monsoon and I are teaming up to rock Contour afterhours.  You can't beat that for a night of clubbing.

Close your eyes and picture this...you're on a speedboat cruising over crystal blue waters off the coast of Florida like a bullet towards Cuba. The wind is blowing your perfectly coiffed & feathered hair and you're donning some Ray Ban sunglasses. Your best friend is riding shotgun and you just know it's going to be one hell of a day!

Did that summon images of the opening scene from Miami Vice? Well that's EXACTLY what the next Summer Sessions on Saturday, September 19th is all about! Except that you'll be on the Islander Yacht, it will be night time (so no sunglasses needed), and we're not really going to Cuba (as far as we know -- might be a good idea to bring a passport just in case). But other than that -- exactly the same!

Break out your white Armani jacket, linen pants and pastel colored T-shirt, don't forget the five o'clock shadow and loafers, but do forget the socks. For the ladies, scrunchies, shoulder shirts, tights and neon should provide that touch of 80's that we all grew up with. And don't try to pretend like you don't have these clothes in your closet -- we all know you bust them out from time to time, reliving your glory days.

When in doubt, ask yourself, "What would Sonny and Rico do?"

Come celebrate Johnny Monsoon getting another year older, while you get all nostalgic and feel 20 years younger (drinking helps too). Loading starts at 8:30 and departure is at 9:30 sharp.
